Stand-up Comedy

Twenty minutes. Forty-five minutes. Clean. Blue. Your brief, your room.

Stand-up

A set that suits your room.

Stand-up at a private event is a different sport to a comedy club. Wrong set, wrong crowd, very long ten minutes. I write to your brief — and I'll send through three different sample bits before we agree.

The opening set or the post-dinner warm-up. Tight, observational, lands hard, gets out clean. Best for awards nights, charity galas, anything where I'm not the headline.

Most popular £Call

The proper set. Some bits about the venue, some about the host, some classic material that always lands. The room ends warmer than it started.

Best value £Call

Theatre-length. Three-act structure. Built bespoke if there's enough lead-time, otherwise a curated tour of the best bits. Suits theatre-style rooms, bigger venues, comedy clubs.

A note on the brief

"Clean" means proper clean — pub-grandma clean. "Blue" means I can swear and reference adult themes. "In-between" means PG-13 — most awards nights and corporate dos sit here. Tell me what your room is and I'll write to it.

From the back row

Recent wins.

Stand-up at a wake sounds like a terrible idea. Jamie made it the loveliest forty minutes of the day. Mum would have loved him — and now half my family have booked him.

Cleanest 30 minutes I've had at a charity night in years. Hilarious, sharp, and didn't go anywhere we'd have to apologise for. Class act.

Booked Jamie for our retirement do for my dad. He spoke to dad before the gig, weaved his life into the set. Cried laughing. So did dad.
