Functional (always on)

• Session cookies so the contact form remembers your input if you reload.
• Theme preference — if you've toggled dark/light, that gets remembered.
• Cookie-consent record — so I don't ask you again every time you visit.

Analytics (opt-in)

If you accept analytics, I record anonymous, aggregated stats — pages viewed, rough region, device type. First-party only — no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel. Used to work out which pages are useful and which need a rewrite.

Marketing (off by default)

Currently off. If I ever add retargeting (and frankly, I'd rather not), you'd opt-in here.
